On July 24th, the second phase of the "Heart-to-Heart Yunnan Tour" solar street light project in Tadkattha Township, Yangon, was officially launched. Yangon Chief Minister Soe Thein and Minister Counselor Zheng Zhihong of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar attended the launch ceremony.

The second phase of the solar street light project, jointly funded by the Yunnan Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Yunnan Energy Investment United Energy Tadkattha Power Co., Ltd., plans to install 40 off-grid solar street lights in various public areas in Tadkattha Township. The first phase of the project was completed and put into operation in September 2024.

Minister Counselor Zheng Zhihong handed over the donation certificate for the second phase of the project to Tadkattha Township Mayor Kyaw Thu. The project is expected to be completed in the second half of this year.
