High mast lights generally refer to lighting fixtures consisting of steel poles over 15 meters in height and high-power modular light fixtures. They primarily consist of a lamp holder, internal lighting fixtures and electrical components, a pole body, and a base. They are commonly used in city squares, stations, docks, freight yards, highways, stadiums, and overpasses. The lamp holder design can be customized based on user requirements, the surrounding environment, and lighting needs. The internal lighting fixtures typically consist of floodlights and spotlights, using NG400 high-pressure sodium lamps with a lighting radius of up to 60 meters. The pole body is typically a single-piece cylindrical structure rolled from steel plate, with a height of 25-40 meters. High Mast Lighting Classifications

Generally, they can be divided into lift-type and non-lift-type models. Lift-type models typically have a main mast height of over 18 meters and feature an electric lift for easy operation. Once the panel is raised to its working position, it automatically releases and hangs in the groove, removing the wire rope.

Lift-type high mast lights feature both manual and electric lift control, allowing the panel to be safely and reliably lowered to 2.5 meters above the ground, facilitating maintenance. The manual remote control cable is 10 meters long, allowing the operator to remotely control the panel's raising and lowering from a distance of 5 meters, ensuring personal safety.

Lift-type high mast lights also come with a spare cable. When the panel is lowered to its lowest position, one end of the cable plugs into the electrical control system's socket and the other into the panel's junction box. This allows for direct power to the panel and lighting maintenance.

High Mast Light Configuration

1. The pole is an octagonal or dodecagonal pyramidal structure, constructed from high-strength, high-quality steel plates through pre-forming, bending, and automated welding. Available in heights of 25, 30, and 35 inches, it is designed to withstand winds of up to 60 meters per second. Each height consists of three to four spliced sections. The flanged steel chassis ranges in diameter from 1 meter to 1.2 meters and is 30 mm to 40 mm thick.

2. The structure is primarily functional, with a frame structure and some decorative options. Steel tubes and pipes are used as the primary materials. The pole and panel are hot-dip galvanized.

3. The electric lifting system consists of an electric motor, a winch, a set of hot-dip galvanized steel cables, and cables. Installed within the pole, it can reach a lifting speed of 3 to 5 meters per minute.

4. The guide and unloading system, consisting of guide wheels and guide arms, prevents lateral movement of the panel during lifting. Once fully raised, the panel automatically releases and is locked by hooks.

5. The lighting system includes 6-24 400W-1000W metal halide lamps (white light), spotlights, and floodlights. A computerized timer automatically controls the on/off times and partial or full lighting.

6. Lightning protection system: A 1.5-meter-long lightning rod is installed at the top of the lamp, and a 1-meter-long grounding wire is installed in the underground foundation and welded to the underground bolts.
